4.4 Drawing your information architecture
Before moving on to the next session in which several data protection instruments are discussed it is time to take stock. Take a piece of paper and draw the information architecture you envisage for your data or innovation project. Think of how data will be collected, where it will be stored and who will have access to it. Keep this piece of paper, so that if you continue with training, in session 8 you can reflect if you would change anything.
Below is an example of the information architecture of the municipal app that facilitates the mapping of trees in the city by involving citizens and asking them to report and register trees on a platform provided by the municipality (this process is called crowdsourcing).
