The program facilitates co-creation processes to develop digital solutions under a citizen-centered design approach. Fostering cross-sector collaboration among city’s different departments, universities, research institutes, private companies, NGOs and activists.
The program rolles-out digital solutions during on-site events such as mapathons, where neighbours, volunteers, activists, students and public officers engage in collecting information about their natural and built environment in selected pilot areas.
PROJECT SCALE UP
The program supports open-source technologies to ensure that the digital solutions can be easily transferred and scaled-up by making the source code freely accessible and customizable to other international urban contexts.
