ABOUT CLIMATE Digital Cities
Through the strategic use of digital solutions, the abundance of everyday-produced data can be utilized for more effective urban planning and management to increase cities’ capacity to cope with climate change impacts. Also, ICT-based solutions have great potential to increase climate resilience in cities, providing platforms for inclusion and improving the dialog between city administrations and citizens. Putting citizens – not technology – at the center of the solution’s design is the only way to guarantee the service’s sustainability and scalability and achieve truly Climate Digital Cities.
Through the strategic use of ICT solutions, the abundance of everyday-produced data can be utilized for more effective urban planning and management to increase cities’ capacity to cope with climate change impacts.
